Privacy Policy
The newsroom is a read-only publication: you can browse every article without an account, and we collect the minimum needed to run the site and its advertising.
Last updated: 2026-08
1. What we collect
Browsing the newsroom requires no account and no sign-up. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser user-agent) transiently for security and abuse prevention. If you email us, we keep your message and address in order to reply.
2. How we use it
To serve and secure the site, to answer correspondence, and to measure aggregate traffic. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
3. Advertising & cookies
This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
4. Other cookies
We store a single preference cookie (fm_theme) that remembers your light/dark choice across the Frontier Milestones sites. It contains no identifier and is not used for tracking.
5. Who processes your data
Cloudflare hosts the site and serves its assets. Google serves the advertising described above. Each processes data under its own terms and security.
6. Retention
Server logs are kept only transiently by our host. Email correspondence is kept while we work through it and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record.
7. Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to privacy@frontiermilestones.org and we will act on it.
8. Children
The newsroom is aimed at a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
