Samsung SDI says global clients gave early nod to its solid-state batteries

Samsung SDI vice president Kim Eun-ha, who heads its all-solid-state battery production development group, said sample performance evaluations with multiple global customers have drawn positive responses on energy density and safety, with mass production targeted for the second half of 2027. It is the first time a Samsung SDI executive has publicly discussed the program's status.
