Hyundai takes full control of Boston Dynamics — days after the first anti-robot car-factory strike

Hyundai will buy SoftBank's remaining 9.9% of Boston Dynamics for about $325M — a put option priced at the 2021 valuation (~$3.3B) — taking 100% ownership as it readies Atlas for factory deployment from 2028. The move lands days after Ulsan workers staged the car industry's first strike over humanoid robots.
