UBTECH began production on 12 September at a 14,000 m² plant in Liuzhou designed for more than 10,000 humanoid robots a year, building Walker S and Cruzr industrial units with Siemens as manufacturing-software partner. It states a line rate — one robot every 10 minutes — which is the first such figure in a month of production announcements from Tesla, AgiBot, XPeng and now UBTECH.

That is still a design figure rather than reported output, and annualising it depends on shift patterns nobody has published. But it is the first humanoid production claim in this run to carry a rate at all.
Chinese border authorities bought UBTech's Walker S2 humanoids under a contract worth about $37M to manage crowds and support cargo checks at the busy Fangchenggang crossing — multilingual passenger guidance plus container ID and seal checks.
